Falling for Nail Color...

Another season, another excuse to break out and try some new nail colors! I'm liking the look of this trio from OPI's Swiss Collection for Fall 2010.

From left to right- Just a Little Rösti at This, William Tell Me About OPI, Ski Teal We Drop.

Pretty Edgy from essie looks like a winner to me!

“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” - Coco Chanel

A Case of the Mondays..

I'll never understand how Monday always has the ability to make me particularly exhausted, but at any rate, its almost over!

Here's a link to an installation art piece that still has the ability to blow my mind- Testament

Hope your Monday didn't get you too down, and here's lookin' at you, Tuesday! :)

Another installation art piece to make your Monday a bit more beautiful. This one is called "The Falling Gardens"...

Sunday Funday

Thought for the day: To live you have to experiment, to have the ability to experiment you have to have confidence, to have confidence you have to be loved, to be loved you have to love.

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Old World Touches for the New Season

Change is a measure of time and, in the autumn, time seems speeded up. What was is not and never again will be; what is is change.
- Edwin Way Teale

Fall decor- can't you just see it now? The mustard yellows, teals, charcoals, maroons... Yes, a new season is upon us and its time to ready our humble abodes.

If you couldn't tell, wood crate shelving is my personal fall obsession. Anything vintage industrial objets d'art (or anything mustard yellow aka my weakness) would be a perfect Fall 2010 addition.

P.S. how amazing would that propeller look in a rustic library/den setting?? you curl up and read an oldie-but-a-goodie-novel, a cup of coffee, the leaves falling from the trees outside.... or in my case the palm trees doing absolutely nothing. meh.
